- Old Business/Past Events
- Haunted Lockers/ Ice Cream Social: Friday October 24, 2025- Cristina Glover
- Fifth and Sixth Graders
- There was no grade-level reps available, Cristina ran the event and is suggesting the proceeds should go to the general fund
- Comments: Q: what was the outreach to the fifth and sixth grade parents? A: PTSCO advertised for volunteers on Hilltop Notes and social media.
- Consensus: It needs to be made clear that parents from the grade that is having the event must volunteer or funds will not go to them.
- Consensus: 15% to 5th grade, 15% to 6th grade, 70% go to the PTSCO general fund

- $828 came in, $455 expenses, $372 proceeds
- Tickets were $4 for everyone, including students

- Decision on what to do with the Haunted Lockers money- above
- Hilltop Homecoming November 21
- Decorating: Rickus will be setting up lighting for Homecoming in the atrium
- Ice Cream- PTSCO will provide ice cream treats for the event
- There was an announcement on HillTop Notes requesting volunteers for the decorating committee
- Students are being surveyed for the theme

- Movie night was a big success

- Create list of potential volunteers (even if they are people that don’t come to PTSCO meetings)

- New Assistant principal- helping to create SCEP
- Danielle serving as parent rep for the SCEP committee. Need a second parent to sit on that committee.
- Cardinal Craze- week before Thanksgiving
- Student planning for the events for the week
- Construction walk-throughs going on with architect and BPS
- There will be a lot of interior construction
- Sound “clouds” will help displace some sound issues
- Fall sports ending, Winter sport registration is starting sign up

- IT report- 10/16 all students have laptops
- IT person is only in the building on Fridays
- There is no consistency for laptops across BPS
- BTF last year of their contract, going into negotiations
- Health and Wellness needs more volunteers

- Need more volunteers for BPTO
- Erie County Restorative Justice gave a talk to the group
- Have seen success in reduction of suspensions

- Red Ribbon Week Very Successfull
- Need more people on the Wellness Team (volunteers- students and parents)

- Nov 8th Pelion Squash, Chop & Drop!
- Please drop your squash and pumpkins to the garden for compost
- School 45 is currently working on composting
- Dr. Kresse is looking into the BPS and Farmer Pirates partnership
- In need of a carpenter to fix the windows of the shed
